This is another publication from the Sydney WYD Office and covers a series of 10 topics; looking at different aspect of Christian living (such as social justice, evangelization and service), accompanied by reflections on the stories of the 10 WYD08 patrons.
The focus of the resource is looking at the ‘Call to Mission’ that pilgrims were given at WYD, and how to respond to this call. It contains some wonderful reflections, as well as a handy list of youth orientated websites. ACTIV8 Witness |

Wangaratta Movie Afternoon |

Lauren Hill is hosting a movie afternoon fundraiser to raise funds for her time with NET Ministries. This event will be held at Wangaratta Cinema on Sunday 30th November, screening “Nights in Rodanthe” – which is base on Nicholas Sparks bestselling novel.
Tickets are now on sale for $15, with all funds raised going straight to supporting Lauren during her year with the NET team. NET ministries travel around Australia, hosting evangelical encounters for students, and since Lauren is devoting a year of her life to this worthy cause, the least we can do is support her.

Sandhurst Youth Ministry would like to congratulate Lauren Hill of Wangaratta for being selected as a member of the NET Ministries team for 2009. NET began in 1981 as an outreach of the St Paul Catholic Youth Centre. This Catholic evangelistic ministry was introduced to Australia in 1988 and has continued to develop with a full time team serving each year in Australia. |
