Hi All,
I'm doing some planning for the year, and Bishop Joe and I have been talking about Catechesis sessions around the diocese. I'm trying to get some dates organisied and trying to work out when the best time is....
Bendigo Region do one once a month before the 6pm Sunday Youth Mass, and this seems to be a good time. (stats show that Sunday night is the most popular Mass time for youth and young adults across Australia)
In Sandhurst though, there are only a few places that have a Sunday evening Mass (Bendigo, Marong, South Shepp, South Wang and Wodonga according the the website)
So, if we were to offer Cathechesis with Bishop Joe as a "starter" for SYM supported regular ongoing local catechesis sessions, what are the preferences? when do you think you would come to such an event? (do you think you would come to an event like this?)
a) Sunday evening before Mass for those places that have Mass then
b) Saturday evening before Mass (lots of places have saturday evenings)
c) a weeknight after school (4-6pm)
d) a weeknight in the evening (7-9pm)
d) Sunday evening at 6pm if there is no evening Mass.
e) some other time????
Would have loved to create a poll, but you apparently can't do that with groups in Facebook. grrrr
What are your thoughts? Could you contribute to the topic on the group page? Let's get a discussion going...
