A Vision for Youth Ministry |

 Ministry with adolescents must begin with a focus on the correct vision and purpose.
The Parish Planning Team and all parishioners must ask themselves these questions:
- What is our understanding of youth ministry?
- What is the purpose of youth ministry?
- What are we currently doing to minister to young people in our Parish community?
Discussing these questions aims to ensure that the group shares a similar vision and perspective of youth ministry.

Engagement with Young People in Church life and Mission
“We will seek to understand, through dialogue– the culture, challenges, and concerns of young people and foster their active engagement at every level of Church life and Mission”
Goal 1: To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
Goal 2: To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.
Goal 3: To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. |
