Why have one?
o Ensure you maintain a positive environment for all those involved
o Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all members of the group, specifically children and young people; and
o Provide guidelines for appropriate behavior
Developing your Code of Conduct
o Develop in conjunction with Parish Priest/Parish Leadership
o Keep it SIMPLE – in language and intention
o Make sure your leaders and young people in group are aware of Code of Conduct
